On April 22, a meeting was held at the Georgian Wheelchair Workshop with a delegation from the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan (NASP). The meeting was hosted by Giorgi Dzeladze, Chairperson of the Coalition for Independent Living, and Giorgi Dzeladze, Director of the Georgian Wheelchair Workshop.

LLC Georgian Wheelchair Workshop has launched the production of a new product – shower/toilet wheelchairs – fully aligned with modern standards. The product is designed to make movement in the bathroom and hygiene procedures safer, more comfortable, and easier both for users and for their caregivers. The new model is made from electrostatically coated, waterproof, and dirt-resistant material, ensuring long-term durability and easy maintenance. The wheelchair is equipped with a backrest adjustable to three positions, allowing users to choose the most comfortable seating angle. The model is available in different sizes to accommodate the individual needs of various users. The shower/toilet wheelchair folds easily, making it simple to store and transport. Its removable collection container provides added comfort and hygiene. Each wheel is equipped with an independent brake. The model is highly durable and designed to support users weighing up to 120 kg.

The new model is made of electrostatically treated, waterproof and dirt-resistant material, which ensures long-term operation of the trolley and easy maintenance. The trolley is equipped with a three-position adjustable backrest, which allows the user to choose the most comfortable position for him. The model is available in various sizes to suit the individual needs of the user.
